E614 Software Meeting Minutes
			May 15, 2000


Software meeting time:
======================

The E614 software meeting will be held every other week on 
Tuesday at 12:00. The next meeting is on Tuesday May 30.

Software schedule and timelines:
================================

The group will follow the software schedule and timelines as 
discussed at the collaboration meeting. The next upcoming
deadlines are:

        - the testing of the first phase of the pattern 
        recognition (May 25. Jim, Art).
        
        - further testing of the Kalman filtering code
        (May 31. Maher).

Jim, Art and Maher will report on progress at the next software 
meeting.

Software requirements for November run:
=======================================

Maher will send email to the chamber response group (Carl), the
chamber alignment group (Don), and the beamline group inquiring 
about what these groups need from the software group in terms 
of online monitoring as well as offline analyses.

Also Maher will send email to Maxim asking him to look into 
making a special version of the Monte Carlo that simulates 
the upcoming November run.

Renee and Art will work on a version of TDC unpacking for the
November run. This should be ready by June 30.

Event display:
==============

Jim, Art and Maher will discuss what they would like the event 
display to be able to handle once the first phase of the pattern
recognition code is done, and will discuss their suggestions with 
Paul.

Next meeting is on Tuesday May 30 at 12:00 (PT).
