Minutes of the E614 Software Group
10:00 AM Friday, 9 July 1999
Coding conventions:
Maher presented 24 coding conventions to be used in F90
analysis routines. Several corrections and additons were
made. Maher will post the new list when it is ready.
Data structures:
Data structures for detector geometry were presented and
debated. These include a DC plane structure and a DC wire
structure, each of which have attributes accessible by
pointers. An array of such structures will fully describe
the drift chamber geometry. Similar structures will also
describe the proportional chambers. A more detailed
discussion of these structures was deferred to a working
group to meet at a future time.
F77 interim version of MOFIA:
In order to make the latest Monte Carlo data available for
analysis as soon as possible, it was agreed that an interim
version of MOFIA would be written in F77. The following
version will be in F90.
ABSOFT on Linux:
Art will check out the ABSOFT F90 compiler on Linux.
Next meeting: 10:00 AM PDT, 23 July 1999.
