To get a proper sound level on the messages coming from DAQ:

- Set the volume on the right speaker to the middle 
- In a given window, type kmix. It brings up controls on various
sound elements. The first three controls from the left should be 
at maximum. 
- Test it out from program ODB:

Exit chat mode with empty line.
