Posted by Glen Marshall, 18 June 2002 http://midtwist.triumf.ca:8081/EL/020618.22084?exp=twist HV has been turned on to the scintillators as follows: PMT HV4032 channel Voltage M1 00 1600 M2 01 1550 PU11 02 1600 PU12 03 1600 PU21 04 1600 PU22 05 1500 DS1 08 2150 DS2 09 1950 DS3 10 1900 These numbers correspond to settings in the paper log book #4, pages 7 and 8, and should reproduce the results found then, but signals were _not_ checked any further. Part of a related post by Blair, Glen, and Dave, 4 July 2002 http://midtwist.triumf.ca:8081/EL/020704.510?exp=twist (I've removed the DS scintillator info, since it was updated later.) We have connected the scintillator and HV cables (we think the same way as before). Here are the connections: PMT HV Cable Sig Cable HV4032 channel Voltage M1 PMTHV0 PMT 1 00 1600 M2 PMTHV1 PMT 2 01 1550 PU11 PMTHV2 PMT 3 02 1600 PU12 PMTHV3 PMT 4 03 1600 PU21 PMTHV4 PMT 5 04 1600 PU22 PMTHV5 PMT 6 05 1500 DS1 25132 25110 08 2150 DS2 25133 25111 09 1950 DS3 25134 25113 10 1900 === Post from Andrei, 22 August 2002: http://midtwist.triumf.ca:8081/EL/020822.7835?exp=twist Dave, Yuri and me have set up the "magnet safe" downstream scintillator package. The threshold is set to 30mV for both DS1 and DS2. The DS1 and DS2 signals are input into the D coincidence unit (former triple coincidence DS1*DS2*DS3). The DS3 is not used any more. The D output goes into the prescaler etc as it was before.
