TWIST Run Coordination 2002 The responsibilities of the run coordinator are as follows: - To ensure that a shift schedule has been filled. - To track progress through the run plan - identifying items which may be overlooked - questioning items which require clarification - reporting progress on the run plan to the collaboration - To communicate at regular intervals with collaboration leaders. - Many questions can be handled by consensus. When this is not the case, or when the run coordinator feels clarification is required, it is appropriate to contact a collaboration leader. In any case, communication between collaboration leaders and the run coordinator should be on a frequent interval. - Significant adjustments of priorities should be discussed with the deputy run coordinator, and communicated to the TWIST Steering Committee.* These responsibilities do not alter the fact that it remains the responsibility of those on shift to make progress on the priorities identified in the run plan. These priorities will generally be the result of collaboration-wide discussion. In the event that the run coordinator is out of town for more than two days, a substitute should be found. In the event that the deputy run coordinator is out of town for more than five days, a substitute should be found. ------------------- *TWIST Steering Committee: Bob Tribble, Dave Gill, Vladimir Selivanov, Jean-Michel Poutissou, Carl Gagliardi.
