Trouble shooting :

To restart all processes :

• Log off the session , using the "fvwm" Exit command from the Fvwm menu
• Log back on with the usual account name and password
• Select the 1st window of the DESK sapce
• Open an xterm and execute
• ~/bin/kill-daq-all - This will kill all processes and might ask you to delete a shared section
• ~/bin/start-daq-tasks - This will start all MIDAS processes
• ~/bin/start-daq-desk - This will setup 4 windows which are for use by advanced users
• Select the 1st window in the APPS space
• Open an xterm and execute
• ~/bin/start-daq-apps - This will start the Netscape for Midas control and status, an xterm for ANAL and start PAW
•  Select the ANAL window and execute :
• source ~/bin/start-anal - This will  setup all environment variables and start the MOFIA analysis program to receive data directly from the  DAQ and maintain the histograms in shared memory
