Beam off for shutdown morning of Sept 8. Nominally will do beam studies
with the TEC for first week, and start setup of spectrometer by the Wed01
maintenance if we need that long for TEC studies. May start sooner with
alignment data if beam studies go quickly.

Run plan discussed:

1) start gas flowing to chambers PC,DC,Cradle, etc.
2) setup standard 2003 tune, do B2 scan for optimal tune
   -> compare to tune file at -154 cm
   -> test reproducability:
         - turn on and off quads (one at a time) -> any procedure needed?
         - how far off on each quad before we see a difference?
         - test reproducability of slits
3) Q7 scan to get tunes with focus moved -> Get prediction from Dick's notes
4) slit studies "high rate", "low rate"

5) Switch over to spectrometer data taking -> get alignment data

Notes:
- for 1-4, will be mostly specialist shifts for Thursday, Friday this week
- will meet again Friday at 3pm in counting room for TEC tutorial,
  and to see progress and decide if shifts are needed to get all needed data
- may need 24-7 shifts for alignment data... will depend on how much we need
