As an alternative, one can update the CVS/Root files using
the perl script at ~olchansk/bin/setcvsroote614.perl. To use
it, "cd" to a checked-out tree and run the script.

NOTE: do not run this script from your home directory: the script
changes ALL CVS/Root files under the current directory, so
if you have non-E614 CVS checkouts, their CVS/Root files will be
overwritten.

P.S. Before running "cvs", ensure that you belong to the "e614cvs"
group- use the "id" or "id -a" command. The output should look like
this:

[olchansk@sam olchansk]$ id -a
uid=1900(olchansk) gid=100(users) groups=100(users),123(e614cvs)

If group "123(e614cvs)" is missing, some cvs commands will fail. To
fix this you have to re-login.
