Maxim is the 3rd person asking me a question about the
command "cvs login". It means this information is of use
to everyone.

When using the "ssh" method to access the cvs repository,
one should never use the commands "cvs login" or "cvs logout"
any more.
You will be prompted for your password for each cvs command
you execute.

For remote users, there is another potential problem.
Paul has reported that he needed to change all files
with names CVS/Repository
In the case of the local users, the Repository file gives
a relative path. Paul said that his Repository files had
an absolute path. For example, it would contain
/usr/users/e614mgr/cvs/triumf/admin/mofia whereas
my version would contain only triumf/admin/mofia
If this is the case for your Repository files, you
will have to replace every occurences of /usr/users/e614mgr
by /home/e614mgr
