TWIST Mofia Manual

• Overview of Mofia. (Describing Mofia, its history, organization, and use. Based on manuals from older Mofia versions.) The latest version can be found in CVS, in $MOFIA_ROOT/manual.
  1. Introduction (history, language, etc.)
  2. Source Code Organization (directory structure, 'dummy' routines, etc.)
  3. Installing from CVS and Compiling Mofia (see also the TWIST Softare Installation Guide)
  4. Running Mofia (basic commands, how flags work, how namelists work, how KCM files work, etc.)
  5. Initialization Branch (geometry and histogramming)
  6. Analysis Branch (TDC unpacking, filtering, cross talk handling, calibrations, efficiency, alignment, etc.)
     • Technote 90 is a description of how events are classified, and how hits are sorted into time windows.

• The Appendices from the Mofia 2.2 manual include flow charts and structure diagrams; these are probably inaccurate, but are included here in case you found them useful. The best place to find this information is in the code itself; tips on where exactly to find this sort of thing are in the appropriate sections of the current manual, above.
