Histogram Description
Histogram Monitoring
In monitoring Raw hits per Wire Multiplicity histograms a variation of the
technique described in the section on Defining Changing Histograms
is used. A Kolmogorov test is carried out on each bin of the histogram, as
well as on its overall shape. Sample histograms must have significant differences
in more than one bin (by default a False Alarm Probability of less than 1×10
-4), and in their overall shape (a default False Alarm Probability
of less than 1×10-3). Those histograms meeting both of these
criteria will be tagged as changing.
