Beam spot histograms allow a two dimensional view of the muon beam placement with respect to the detector. The histograms are created by plotting the hits on the first two PC planes (upstream) or last two PC planes (downstream). Data is plotted Y against X (a conversion is done from the original U and V coordinates), with the divisions along both axis in centimeters.
