Today's event of the day is a MC event in which a beam positron hit something hard enough to stop in the detector. Attached is a photo of the event (run2event17882_0.gif). The green clusters are a beam positron that passes through the detector, the yellow clusters are the muon, the pink+cyan clusters are the beam positron that stops in the detector, and the dark blue clusters are the decay positron. The fact that the beam positron stopped in the detector confused my event classification. Again I think this is rare enough that I don't need to worry about it -- but I should put in a counter for this.
