Today's event of the day is one that is one of the larger sources of headaches in event classification. The event has a decay positron which is followed by a beam positron. The beam positron gets enough hits from the decay positron, that it no longer looks like a beam positron if you compare upstream and downstream. As a result the classification sometimes gets confused. I have tried to put in checks for this, and to correct it when I can -- but sometimes these ones slip by and get misclassified. Above is a photo of this busy event, where (in time order) the green clusters are a first muon, the yellow clusters are an upstream decay positron, the pink clusters are a beam positron, the blue clusters are the second muon, and the grey clusters are a downstream decay positron.
