Event-of-the-Day

Thu 15 May 2003

Photo of the event-of-the-day for Thu 15 May, 2003.

Today's event of the day is the 'complex' data event I presented at WRNPPC'03, but analyzed with my (Blair's) current event classification code. Rather than calling the event 'Complex dirty', this event is called Time Delta Cleaned. That means it has a muon, a decay positron with a delta in time with it, and one or more beam positrons. Above is a photo of such an event from data, where the green clusters are from the muon, the red clusters are from the decay positron, the blue clusters are the removed delta electron in time with the decay positron, and the black clusters are a beam positron with a delta.

The event classification for this event is:
 EventType: 7 (Time Delta Cleaned)
