Event-of-the-Day

Fri 23 May 2003

Photo of the event-of-the-day for Fri 23 May, 2003.

Today's event of the day is a data event with a "PC overlap" window that contains two decay positrons and a muon. Above is a photo of the event, where the green clusters are a first muon, and the blue clusters are a second muon, and two decay positrons. The second muon is about 175 ns before the two almost simultaneous decay positrons, so can almost be separated, but I have set the PC overlap time to be about 200 ns.
The event classification for today's data event 31364 of run 11754 is:
 EventType: 5 (PC Overlap)
