USING THE TRIUMF TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM FOR TWIST

Here is the procedure: The chairperson starts the conference. This
person needs to know the "chairman code"

All participants call 1-866-365-4409
They are asked to enter the access code: 2227437
     followed by # (pound sign)
If the chairperson has not yet initiated the conference, 
there will be placed on music hold untill the Chairperson
joins the conference. 

If you have trouble, you can call the conference room directly:
  604-222-7584.

The following commands are available to all participants:

*6   Participant can mute their line
*7   Participant can unmute their line 
     (cannot override the Chairperson) 
*#   Count the number of participants
00   Ask for the operator
**   List the available commands


ACCESSING THE TRIUMF "VISUAL PRESENTER"

One of the new conference rooms at TRIUMF has a "Visual Presenter":
basically a web camera pointed at an overhead-projector-style platform
where plots, diagrams, etc can be placed by the local conference
participants.  The pictures are put on the web for off-site
participants to see.  You can access the Visual Presenter here:

  Username: sx
  Password: triumf

You can use "Live" (Java required) or "Refresh" (any graphical browser
should work).  The Live page can update as much as every half second
or faster, depending on its on-site configuration; the Refresh page's
update period can be selected by the viewer (minimum of two seconds).
In both cases, clicking on the "SXGA" button brings up a new window
with a high-resolution version of the image; this is usually good
enough to read most text on whatever's being presented.
